What is the Print QR Codes Call for?
The Print QR Code Request allows a QR code to be requested for shipments using the Royal Mail Tracked 24 or Tracked 48 services. The end customer can then take this QR to the post office, either printed or on a mobile device, and scan the QR code to generate the returns label.
A successful response to a PrintMyLabelQRCode Request will return the relevant QR Code (also known as a 3d Barcode) as a Base64 encoded string.
A QR code is a machine-readable code consisting of an array of black and white squares, typically used for storing URLs or other information for reading by the camera on a smartphone.
